The Newberg City Council met on September 20, 2021 and took the following actions. Approved Resolutions: 2021-3765, Grant application to Department of Land Conservation for affordable & workforce housing projects 2021-3466, Contract award to MIG, Inc. for Americans with Disabilities Act Transition Plan. Approved Ordinance 2021-2888, Zoning change for 713 E. Vermillion Street. Moved to convene the Citizens Rate Review Commission for its biennial rate analysis. Proclaimed October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Affirmed the City policy set in 2017 by Resolution 2017-3359, A Resolution that declared the City of Newberg as an inclusive city for all persons, regardless of race, color, national origin, immigration or refugee status, religion, sex, mental, emotional and physical ability, age, or economic status In other business, Heard activity report from City Manager.
