The Newberg City Council met on April 5, 2021. The Council took the following actions: ● Proclaimed April Child Abuse Prevention Month. All residents are encouraged to wear blue on April 21 as a public statement in Newberg in support of child abuse prevention. ● Approved Resolutions: 2021-3728, Approving Economic Analysis report 2021-3723, Approving Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue Fire Code 2021-3730, Changing Affordable Housing Commission membership to include a youth representative ● Approval of Ordinance 2021-2873, Change to Building Code for Fire regulations In other business, Heard presentations on updates to Water and Wastewater Plans, Branding and Communications Plan, and Equity Assessment. Heard activity reports from City Manager and City Attorney. Received February financial statements.
