The Newberg City Council met on February 16, 2021. The Council took the following actions: ● Approved Resolutions: 2021-3713, MurraySmith Inc. Contract for Redundant Supply Project – Phase 3. 2021-3720, Lands Report adoption for 2021-2041. 2021-3724, Title 15 Code Amendment initiation for Mixed Employment zoning designation for Riverfront. ● Approval of Library Strategic Plan for 2021-2026 ● Notice of Funding Availability for FY 2020-2021 – for Affordable Housing programs with an application date of May 31st. In other business, Heard presentations on Steps Forward Sidewalks program, and Taste Newberg quarterly report. Heard activity report from City Manager. Heard from a representative of the Newberg Dundee Public Safety Association expressing support for hiring Jeff Kosmicki as the Police Chief.
