The Newberg City Council met on January 3, 2022 and took the following actions. Announced resignation of Councilor Bryce Coefield from District 4. Elected Councilor Yarnell Hollamon as Council President for 2022. Approved Resolutions: 2022-3780 – Contract award to Wallis Engineering PLLC for Pavement maintenance design. Approved appointments to the ADA Ad Hoc Committee. In other business: Heard report from the City Manager Pro Tem. Discussed alternatives for the District 4 vacancy, and agreed to discuss it further at the January 18th meeting.
