Council Roundup for February 4,2019 The Newberg City Council met on February 4th,2019. The Council took the following actions: •Accepted auditor’s report. •Approved Resolution 2019-3528,contract award to Kittelson & Associates for pavement preservation. •Approved Resolution 2019-3535,change order to Sabre Industries & WCCCA contract for emergency communications. •Approved initiation of several code amendments Resolution 2019-3523-duplexes & triplexes in R-l zone; Resolution 2019-3529-vertical housing; Resolution 2019-3530-downtown residential parking; and Resolution 2019-3531-downtown commercial space requirements. •Approved councilor assignments to committees, and several assignments to city committees. In other business, Had a workshop on Transient Lodging Tax. Heard annual report for Cultural District,and an update on the community visioning project. Heard activity report from City Manager.
