Item H: Vehicle Inspection Program overview (Informational)
DEQ will provide introductory information about the Vehicle Inspection Program, and preview a rulemaking expected to come to the commission for action in January 2025. This rulemaking proposes to formalize remote on-board diagnostics testing through VIP's “DEQ Too program," which partners with private businesses to provide additional emissions testing options to the motoring public.
