The commission will hear oral argument from and have an opportunity to ask questions of both DEQ and Mapleton Rock Products representatives regarding MRP's Petition for EQC Review of the Administrative Law Judge's November 2023 Proposed Order regarding alleged violations of Oregon water quality law, the imposition of a civil penalty, and required corrective actions at MRP's gravel quarry near Mapleton, Oregon. The commission will then deliberate and determine by motion its decision on the Final Order in this matter.
