Council Roundup March 2, 2026 City Council mt for their regularly scheduled meeting and the following transpired:  Approved Resolution 2026-4012 passing the 2026 Safey Manual Approved Resolution 2026-4017 updating council goals to recognize the successes achieved to date Approved Resolution 2026-4014  adopting the council and committee technology agreement  Approved Resolution 2026-4010 updating the council rules to adopt decorum standards and adjust public comment parameters Approved Resolution 2026-4016 awarding construction contract for HB2001 Waterline Improvement I-4 Alignment Project to Pacific North Construction and to be completed by June 30, 2026.  Heard the Rate review recommendations for the new monthly water, wastewater, stormwater, and transportation utility fee rates for City of Newberg effective January 1, 2027 and January 1, 2028.  Conducted interviews for Student Commissioner positions for the Historic preservation and Library Boad.
