I am reviewing the report right now but haven’t gotten to section 6.3 yet. However, because the concentrations are below 10 ug/l in the CTS effluent I think it would be acceptable to go ahead now and reduce the monitoring to quarterly as proposed.

Hello Mavis,
I’m touching base about one of the recommendations in the TSA Semiannual Report (May 28, 2009). I wonder if DEQ approves the recommendation in Section 6.3 (second bullet) of the report, to reduce TSA CTS system effluent sampling from monthly to quarterly, following more than 10 years of consistently compliant effluent water quality?
The prior quarterly effluent sample was collected last month, May 09. So I wanted to confirm whether we might start quarterly effluent sampling,…with the next sample scheduled for August 09? Or whether we should continue monthly sampling and thus collect the June sample?
If you’re busy, don’t worry. This is no rush. We could continue monthly sampling until you’ve had a chance to complete a full review of all the report recommendations. –Just thought I’d ask in case we can switch to quarterly at this point.
