Council Roundup August 18, 2025 Newberg City Council met on August 18, 2025 and did the following: Approved Resolution 2025-3985 for the purchase of two chevy trucks for drone deploy-ment. Received an update on the Jodi Court Street Art Project. Received liability insurance training from Brown and Brown. Received information from Community Development and Capital Engineering on proposed changes to construction hours in the nuisance code. Received information from the City Recorder on outdated sections of code related to ciga-rette vending machines, public dances, and the cable commission. Approved Resolution 2025-3986 appointing a delegate for the LOC annual conference.
