Newberg City Council met on August 4, 2025 and took the following actions: • Approved Ordinance 2025-2936 adopting the Newberg Economic Opportunities Analysis and amending the Newberg Comprehensive Plan V. Land Need and Supply. • Approved Ordinance 2025-2935 amending the Newberg Municipal Code Title 3 Revenue and Finance and Title 15 Development Code to update vacation rental home policy with an amendment changing the date in section G to September 3, 2025. • Moved to direct staff to conduct a formal solicitation for SB 1537 “one-time” UGB expansion sites. • Moved to approve a work order with Keller engineering to conduct an Inflow and Infiltration study. • Moved to approve the Draft Council Rules with amendments as debated and direct staff to send them for legal review.
