Council Roundup July 21, 2025 Newberg City Council met on July 21, 2025 and took the following actions: • Approved the consent calendar including Resolution 2025-3984 to renew a contract with Axon Enterprises for Body Worn Cameras and Resolution 2025-3983 Approving the Approved Street Tree List. • Passed Resolution 2025-3980 authorizing the City Manager to purchase one diesel powered street sweeper. • Passed Resolution 2025-3981 authorizing the City Manager to purchase an CCTV Pipe Inspection System and Vehicle. • Passed Resolution 2025-3982 approving an application to the Department of Land Conservation and Development (DLCD) 2025-2027 Housing Planning Assistance Grant. • Discussed interest in removal of the southern portion of the Blaine Street Rail spur and asked the City Manager to investigate but keep costs minimal.
