Council Roundup The City Council met for their regularly scheduled meeting on April 21st, 2025, and the following transpired: 1. City Manager gave his February statistical report 2. Taste Newberg gave their mid-year review report 3. Oregon Main Street presented and overview of their association to council 4. Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue gave their 2025 state of the district presentation 5. Resolution 2025-3969 was passed, amending the purchasing manual 6. Council discussed with City Manager Will Worthey and Public Works Director Russ Thomas the Downtown Beautification plans The Newberg Urban Renewal Agency (NURA) met right after the council meeting and appointed 2 new members to the NURA Budget committee: Thomas Rinke and Derek Duff.
