I’m writing to confirm the path forward for establishing NFA on this case. I believe the leak report was made erroneously, possibly by a contractor. The UST Decommissioning Report, supported by field observations, photographs and sampling results, documents that no leak occurred from the tanks. Typical dripping around one of the pumps resulted in minor contamination (one area slightly above Minimum Reporting Limits but below Risk Based Concentrations) and 1.5 cy of soil was removed.
I’m not suggesting we side-step your delisting process, rather inquiring if there is an alternate path to preclude unnecessary staff time. Perhaps a phone call would be best?
