Thanks Russ,
As a lease we would not put it into ORMS until finished BUT due to it's being evergreen (renews automatically every 15 years), I can classify this as Property and put it in that section.
It does mark it as permanent retention if classified as a property document so we will just need to know if the agreement ever terminates so we can then date it for retention as a lease.

Laurie,
I was finally able to run these invoices and the lease agreements down through the railroad.
These are for leased easements under the railroad right of way at Springbrook Road for our water and sewer line crossings. The easements are a permanent lease agreement( unless we remove the water and sewer lines) and renew every 15 years.
These invoices are for the once every 15 years payment of our leases, for the period from 12/1/2021, to 11/30, 2036. I have talked with Jan Strait in the real estate department of the Genesee & Wyoming Railroad, and she said that these were somehow overlooked by her predecessor. Even though these were due in November of 2021, she stated that there will be no additional past due charges added onto the lease payments, but that we do need to get them taken care of as soon as possible.
As these are only due once every 15 years, it would be easy to overlook or miss them and I have attached a copy of the original lease agreements that I was able to get from them.
Can we get these paid directly from the invoices and let me know when the payment has been sent, and I will let Jan Strait at the Genesee & Wyoming Railroad know?
The account numbers for payment are :
Invoice # 179089 - 06.5113.533000 - $2,250.00 Invoice # 179090 - 07.5113.533000 - $3,100.00
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks.

Laurie,
It appears to be a 15 year Right of Way Lease payment for water and sewer lines under the Railroad crossing at Springbrook Road that was initially done in 2006.
I have not been able to locate the contract agreement in the city files and have a call into them to see if I can get a copy of the agreement for our records.
Once I am able to locate or get a copy of it, I will let you know about getting it paid.
Thanks.
