Council Roundup February 3rd 2025, Council met at their regularly scheduled meeting and took the following actions: Approved the consent calendar which held the updated City Council Goals and the appointment to staff to the Yamhill County Affordable Housing Corporation Heard an update from the Newberg Downtown Coalition, giving the City Manager approval to use Community Support funds at his discretion for the support of NDC, and tabled any motions until the next meeting on February 18th 2025. Heard information from CDD Director Scot Siegel regarding the annual Development Code Maintenance Package Finance Director Kady Strode gave a Property Tax Analysis Presentation; Council gave staff the direction to plan to move forward with the tax increase if no other option is found. Will Worthey, Keller Engineering and Brian Kershaw gave an informational presentation on Capital Improvement Plan Projects
