City Council met on December 2, 2024 and tool the following actions:

•  Approved ordinance 2024-2928 making changes to the Newberg Municipal Code to align with the biennial budget year.

•  Voted to recognize Rebecca Wallis as a member of the news media and subsequently allow her access to executive sessions.

•  Moved to direct staff to create a Letter of Intent with Willcuts Realty for the sale of the Butler Property.

•  Moved to direct staff to update the outlines for public hearings in the Council Rules.

In addition, an award was given to Le-Okay to recognize their contributions to the downtown.

NURA met on December 2, 2024 and took the following actions:

-Approved Resolution 2024-12 Adopting a Biennial Budget

-Approved Resolution 2024-13 accepting a NURA bylaws change align with the biennial budget.
