Council Roundup 11/04/2024

Newberg City Council met for their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday November 4th, 2024 via hybrid meeting and the following transpired:

•  The Mayor made a Proclamation, celebrating 15 years of Small Business Saturday.

•  Taste Newberg gave their bi-annual report, showing future marketing and financial plans.

•  Council Adopted Ordinance 2024-293, annexing property into the City of Newberg, amending the Comprehensive Plan Map, and amending the Zoning Map for a property located at 3809 NE Springbrook Road.

•  Council made a motion to authorize staff to publish the FY2024-2025 Notice of Funding Availability for the Construction Excise Tax Fund for an amount of $1,000,000

•  Council passed resolution 3951 adopting the Utility Billing Policy Updates

Resolution 3947 was passed, declaring the City’s intent to prepare and adopt a biennial budget process.
