The property owner was in the process of replacing their sewer lateral without City or County permitting. Although the sewage being dumped was not leaving the private property the City verbally notified the homeowner to stop the dumping of raw sewage immediately and issued a Stop Work Order Notice. The City also instructed the homeowner to secure the open trench to prevent any possible fall situations. On 2/7/23 the homeowner has pulled a City permit and has been given 5 days to correct the situation.
