My name is Jonathan Kopp and I work on gas cross bores for NW Natural. I was forwarded your info regarding a possible gas cross bore in Molalla. I had a few questions I was hoping you could answer so we can confirm if this is NW Natural pipe or not.
Has the cross bore been located above-ground yet? If so, can you send a photo/map/drawing of where the cross bore is above-ground? Is the damage on private property or in public ROW? The screenshot you sent definitely looks similar to the yellow poly pipe we use, but the gas service going to 124 E 3rd St. is steel. We have some poly pipe on the west side of the property; however. Knowing where the damage is will help us determine if this is our responsibility or not.
Once I can confirm if this is NW Natural pipe, I can begin the repair process.
