Thanks for the update! By the way, can you let Dan know that I am planning a trip to Molalla later this month on a Friday to meet some veterans at Pipps for lunch. While I’m up there, it would be good to touch bases with both of you on several issues (ODOT and DEQ). I don’t have a specific date yet, but it will likely be either on the 15^th or the 22^nd.

Hi,

RRFB’s at OR211 & Hezzie are operational. The electrical crews just finished cleaning up and are leaving soon. Sign crew has one sign that they’ll move next week. We (ODOT R1 Electrical) have some concrete work that will go into next week; plywood is covering holes.

I’d like to thank the following folks for helping us to get this done so quickly:

Steve Hoecker, Ty Oldenburg, Leo Lyashchina, Lisa De Mers and Ashton Willenberg on the electrical crew for their part with foundation, pole, wiring, and installation/operation.

Pat Coffeen’s crew (Estacada Maintenance). Their help while using the Vactor was invaluable; if you didn’t know, we had conflicts with underground and overhead utilities and the Vactor is a non-invasive excavation method.

Jeffrey Hayes and others in traffic as we worked around the location of the foundation (conflicts with the utilities) and other issues.

David Smith, Darren Jackson and Ben Gehrlein and the ODOT Sign/Striping crews for their fast response on the striping and signing.

City of Molalla Public Works helped us with the tree removal and move/repair of the landscape sprinkler (Andy, Adam and Gerald).

I’ve attached some photos.
