Please accept my apologies, I used the wrong UST Facility ID to refer to your site. I’ve attached a corrected letter.

Subject: UST Inspection 11/15/2023 10:30 am

Mr. McLean,

I will be performing a compliance inspection at your UST facility, located at 10110 SW Ridder Rd, in Wilsonville, OR, on November 15, 2023. More information is included in the attached letter. I want to make sure you see that you’ll need to have a representative on site who is able to open all of the lids, stick the tank, and provide me access to the dispensers (if you still have any) and the tank gauge. I will also need your proof of financial responsibility and documentation of the A/B operator for the facility.

Your temporary closure certificate, issued on 10/19/2020, expired one year later. OAR 340-150-0167(2) requires:

At least 30 days before the expiration date on a temporary closure certificate, the permittee must submit one of the following to DEQ:

a. An application for a change-in-service or permanent closure general permit (340-150-0168);

b. A written request to return the UST system to operational status; or

c. A written request to extend the expiration date of the temporary closure certificate.

Please be ready to tell me by November 15 what your plans are for the tanks. I will only grant an extension to your temporary closure status to accommodate the work you plan to do either to decommission the tanks or bring them bac into service. For that extension, you will need to perform a site assessment to find any existing contamination.

If you have any questions, my phone number is below.
