DEQ has requested that the site evaluate the groundwater pathway related to source control in our attached November 29, 2022 letter, based on the results of the groundwater samples reported in the Stormwater SCE. Additionally, groundwater data collected down gradient of the Lampros Sit, as part of the RM 3.5 Project Are, reported detections of contaminants above Portland Harbor Cleanup Levels. Due to DEQ's concerns for the groundwater pathway to the new and historic stormwater lines and the potential for direct discharge of contaminated groundwater to the river, DEQ has requested an evaluation of the groundwater pathway. Please consider a response to our request and let me know how you will proceed.
