QUARTERLY UPDATE: JULY 1 - SEPTEMBER 30, 2023

 
 

ON-SITE ACTIVITIES

  • * Parcel 1:
    • * Completed Buildings 1 and 5 and Pool.
  • * Parcel 2:
    • * Completed Phase II remedial action building, pavement, and landscape caps on 8/8.
    • * Soil not accommodated beneath the cap was hauled offsite for disposal as hazardous waste between 7/18 and 7/21. Three water drums were hauled offsite as hazardous waste on 7/20.
    • * Aspect was onsite on 7/6, 7/17, 7/18 and 8/9 to oversee onsite activities. Aspect conducted the initial vapor intrusion assessment on 8/14 and semiannual groundwater monitoring between 8/21 and 8/23.
  • * Point Environmental was onsite on 7/14, 7/28, 8/11, 8/24 to inspect erosion control measures. 8/24 was the final inspection.

 
 

PLAN VIEW PROGRESS

Parcel 2 construction work focused on Clubhouse construction, Garage 2 construction, soil management, and landscape cap completion.

UPCOMING DELIVERABLES to DEQ and ACTION ITEM REQUESTS

  • * The forthcoming draft Phase II Construction Closeout Report, UPRR and Parcel 2 Operation and Maintenance Plans, and Post-Construction Fact Sheet will be submitted to DEQ for review. Following DEQ’s review and comment on the Phase II Construction Closeout Report and final report submission, a decision and certification of Phase II remedial action completion is requested from DEQ.
