The Newberg City Council met on December 7, 2020. The Council took the following actions: ● Approved Resolutions: 2020-3696 – Supplemental Budget for FY 2020-21 including distribution of CARES Act funding. 2020-3705 - Infrastructure Based Time Extension Technical Memorandums. In other business, Heard from a citizen a request that the Council commit to actions for the Police Department including bias training, and a citizens review board. Heard presentations on Performance Based Budgeting & a Biennial Budget process, Communication Plan, Committee analysis discussion. Heard activity report from City Manager. Had consensus on directing staff to form a System Development Charge commission to examine how SDCs are developed.
