The Newberg City Council met on January 7th, 2019. A farewell ceremony was held for outgoing Mayor Bob Andrews, Councilor Scott Essin, and Councilor Stephen McKinney. Municipal Judge Larry Blake, Jr. conducted the oath of office for Mayor Rick Rogers, Councilor Patrick Johnson, Councilor Stephanie Findley, and Councilor Elizabeth Curtis Gemeroy. The Council took the following actions: ● Elected Denise Bacon as Council President for 2019.
