The Newberg City Council met on April 1st, 2019. The Council took the following actions: ● Honored city workers for intervention efforts in saving a life. See list of names at bottom. ● Proclaimed April 7-13, 2019 as National Library Week in Newberg. ● Approved Library Courtesy Policy. ● Approved Resolution 2019-3543 Newberg Cultural District agreement between City and CPRD ● Approved Resolution 2019-3546, Transient Lodging Tax transfer of funds ● Approved Resolution 2019-3532, Citizen Feedback hearing on 2016 Housing grant monies In other business, Held executive sessions on performance of a public official, and union negotiations. Heard update on Community Visioning process. Heard activity report from City Manager. Discussed Council committee and community activities.
