The Newberg City Council met on March 18th, 2019. The Council took the following actions: ● Approved Council subcommittee on WestRock – Mayor Rogers, Councilor Curtis Gemeroy, Councilor Findley ● Approved Resolution 2019-3544, Willamette Falls Locks IGA ● Approved Resolution 2019-3540, WCCCA Contract amendment – Don Cushing Associates. ● Approved Resolution 2019-3539, Master Fee Schedule annual update. ● Approved Resolution 2019-3542, Development Code amendment initiation for Industrial Xones ● Approved Resolution 2019-3541, MOU with Allison Properties, Inc. for East Crestview Drive. In other business, Heard presentation on Land Use Hearings officer from Mid-Willamette Valley Council of Governments. Heard update on Housing Needs Analysis. Continued discussion on Council Priorities, and the impacts to the budget process. Heard activity report from City Manager. Heard request from citizen to form Police and Judicial Oversight Committee.
