The Newberg City Council met on December 3rd, 2018 and took the following actions: ● Ratified refund of $446,000 of City Hall fee that was over collected. ● Approved the following Resolutions: Resolution 3509, acceptance of canvass of votes for November election. Resolution 3510, ratification of the AFSCME union contract. Resolution 3513, contract award to Microwave Networks Inc. for $123,621. Resolution 3514, initiated Code amendment for small cell wireless facilities. ● Made appointments to City Committees. ● Approved Council Minutes for November 5, 2018. In other business, the Council: ● Heard a report from the City Manager. ● Heard a report from Committees. ● Proclaimed December 3rd as Newberg High School Boy’s Water Polo Day in recognition of their state championship. ● Heard the annual State of the District report from Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue.
