The Newberg City Council met on November 5th, 2018 and took the following actions: ● Approved Food for Fines program at the Library for November. ● Approved Council Minutes from October 1st, 2018. ● Proclaimed Nov. 24th as Small Business Saturday in Newberg. ● Approved appointment of Newberg School Superintendent Dr. Joe Morelock to the Riverfront Committee. Extended the committee terms from February to August 2019. In other business, the Council: ● Heard a report from the City Manager. ● Discussed Gravel Streets. ● Heard from a citizen who thanked the City Council for their service to the community. ● Held 2 executive sessions – 1 on labor negotiations and 1 on real property.
