The Newberg City Council met on October 1, 2018 and took the following actions: ● Elise Yarnell Hollamon was sworn in to the District 1 Council seat to fill a term until Dec. 31, 2020. ● Approved Resolution 2018-3500, approving a partial waiver of Building permit fees for hobby shop at 915 S. Chehalem Street. In other business, the Council: ● Discussed the Long Range Financial Plan and budget closing. ● Heard report from the City Manager. ● Received donation for Police Department from Victory Motorcycle Club for kids for traumatic events. ● Recognized volunteers who painted a downtown mural. ● Heard about KYLC radio updates
