The Newberg City Council met on June 4, 2018 and took the following actions: ● Approved the following Resolutions: Resolution 2018-3480, application for Oregon Housing Project grant. Resolution 2018-3483, three replacement patrol cars for Newberg-Dundee Police Department. Resolution 2018-3476, Code Amendment initiation for retail hours for marijuana dispensaries. Resolution 2018-3484, DEQ Loan refinancing. ● Approved the following Budget items: Resolutions 2018-3465 and 2018-3466 – Receipt of State Shared Revenues and provision of Municipal Services. Resolution 2018- 3469, Adopting Supplemental Budget #2 for Fiscal Year 17-18 By motion, recommended changes to the Fiscal Year 2018-19 budget. The Resolution to adopt the budget will be done at the June 18, 2018 Council Meeting. ● Appointed student commissioners Capri Wheaton to the Planning Commission and Coupber Foushee to the Traffic Safety Commission. ● Approved minutes for May 7, 2018 Council Meeting. In other business, the Council: ● Heard from a citizen on the Public Art brochure. ● Heard a report on activities by the City Manager.
