The Newberg City Council met on January 17th, 2017 and took the following actions: ● Approved meeting minutes for December 5 and 19, 2016. ● Approved a resolution supporting a grant application to help with nomination of the Cameo Theater to the National Register of Historic Places In other business, City Council: ● Heard reports from the City Manager on city services and operations. ● Heard a presentation on Tax Increment Financing – Urban Renewal. ● Held an executive session on pending litigation ●Directed City Attorney to pursue negotiation of settlement based on direction in executive session.
