The Newberg City Council met on October 2, 2017 and took the following actions: ● Approved Resolution 2017-3413, Support for DLCD grant for planning for Urban Growth Boundary work. ● Resolution 2017-3414, MOU with ODOT for OR 18: Newberg-Dundee Bypass access on Springbrook Road ● Convened the Citizens Rate Review Committee, which will begin meeting on October 5. ● Approved Council minutes from August 24, 2017 In other business, the Council: ● Heard reports from City Department Heads, and a report on Yamhill County Transit from Councilor Essin. ● Heard an overview on Public Records Law change ● Heard an evaluation on the City Building Seismic Hazards ●. Heard plan reviews for the 2016 Tourism Plan and the 2007 Springbrook Master Plan.
