The Newberg City Council met on August 14, 2017 and took the following actions: ● Appointed Matthew Murray to serve out the remainder of the vacant position for District 1 on the City Council. The term is from August 14, 2017 to December 31, 2020. ● Approved Resolution 2017-3377, Right of Way Dedication easement and improvement agreement with KWDS, LLC on Villa Road. ● Approved Resolution 2017-3394, approving ballot title and statement for Election measure to annex into Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue District for fire and emergency services and sent to ballot for November 7 election. ● Approved Resolution 2017-3406, approving ballot title and statement for Election measure to amend City Charter to reduce authority to levy property taxes and sent to ballot for November 7 election.
