The Newberg City Council met on November 15, 2021 and took the following actions. Approved appointment of Phillip Higgins to the Ad Hoc Urban Renewal Committee, and reconvened the committee until April 2022. Proclaimed Saturday, November 27 as Small Business Saturday and encouraged local shopping during the holiday season. In other business, Heard presentation from consultant Sara Singer Wilson on strategic planning for the City Council. Heard reports from Chehalem Valley Chamber of Commerce, Taste Newberg and City Manager Pro Tem.
