The Newberg City Council met on October 17, 2022 and took the following actions. Approved: Ordinance 2022-2907, Annexation of 2.16 acres for City Water Treatment Plant Resolution 2022-3868, Refinance Bypass loan with Oregon Department of Transportation for Phases 2 and 3. Resolution 2022-3869, Vacation of unnamed Right of Way north of Mountain View Drive. Moved to take no action on Initiative Petition 2022-02 regarding charter amendment and homeless camps. In other business: Heard activities report from City Manager, and update on ARPA projects Held two Executive Sessions on pending litigation. Heard presentation on SEDCOR Workforce Housing consortium.
