431st Regular Meeting of Oregon Environmental Quality Commission Item D: Climate Protection Program update (informational) DEQ staff will provide an update on plans for a rulemaking in 2024 to reinstate a climate program in place of the recently invalidated rules that established the Climate Protection Program. This update will entail plans for establishing and engaging with a Rules Advisory Committee, a subsequent public comment period, and staff plans for seeking EQC action before the end of the year.
