Hi Brenda,

Special project time. I need you to prepare a speed reduction request for Hwy 213 to go to ODOT. The speed needs to be reduced to 35 from the north end of Big Meadows (North City Limits) to the south City Limits. We will need a short letter of support from the fire district and one from the police department. Need to focus on the large number of crashes at Hwy 213/Toliver, the poor shoulder conditions along the highway in the unimproved area, and the dangerous conditions for pedestrians and bicyclist. We also should send out a letter to commercial property owners along this section with a simple strip form letter that they can sign in support of the speed reduction. Also, I CC’d you on an email to Garett Dunn of the Big Meadows HOA in an effort to rally their troops to the cause. See me if you have any questions and I would like to submit the request in to ODOT by the 26^th so we need the support letters to arrive between the 19^th and the 24^th at the latest. Thanks.
