The Newberg City Council met on May 15, 2023 and took the following actions. Approved: Resolution 2023-3895, Waste Management rate increase. Resolution 2023-3900, replacing summer downtown banner. Council moved to get a legal summary regarding the Shamrock Homes case. In other business: Heard activities report from City Manager Heard presentation on development code amendment related to substantial completion to comply with HB 2306. Public Hearing for Ordinance 2911 was opened and heard public testimony, it will continue June 5th.
