The Newberg City Council met on December 4, 2023 and took the following actions. Received a presentation on automated enforcement through Safety Cameras. Approved Ordinance 2023-2920 An ordinance amending and adding pretreatment definitions to NMC 13.10.040 and adding continuous pH monitoring to NMC 13.10.090. Held a discussion on Council Compensation, tabled the idea for the present. Made a motion to allow staff time and resources to be used to extend the DCI emergency occupancy by up to four more years. Received a presentation on the Sequential Urban Growth Boundary Process, discussed, and gave staff verbal permission to move forward in the process. Approved Resolution 2023-3912 A Resolution to approve the Intergovernmental Agreement between the City of Newberg and the Newberg Urban Renewal Agency for Provision of Staffing and Administrative Services for Newberg Urban Renewal Plan.
