Lyn, this motor is run by a VFD, so three phase protection is implicit. The fault message was “DC Bus Overvoltage”. This is a Mains Overvoltage, not a regenerative overvoltage. Our electricians verified PFCCs, Line reactors and DB resistors are all working. Therefore, the only possible reason for the overvoltage was one of the power bumps experienced over those three hours.
