Once I get the datalogger info back from PGE we’ll figure out what they mean. Below, I ask Ryan to dig a little deeper in to how his system works, so we can figure things out. We’ll get to the bottom of it soon enough. End transmission.

Ryan, if I was working up there with you here would be my next steps: I’d take a second and write a process description (a paragraph will do, though I’m in to boxes and arrows as you know) on how we are set up. For example, I’m “an electron of three phase power” and I come in through a PGE transformer into the pump house at 460v, 60hz (not sure what he means by “we supply amps”. Cause amps is based on how much we draw, based on the resistance of all motors when they turn on and off). There is a meter on this power, telling scada… what? Amps? Volts? Hz? One for each phase? And then in Scada there is an alarm that goes off… when? When Volts is <>30v from 460v for 3 seconds? I’m not sure what the logic is, but it might say on the scada setpoint screen. If not, we may need to ask Industrial Systems to explain that alarm to us. Could you take a crack at figuring this out? Then understanding PGEs results will be easy.

Let me know if this approach sounds okay?

Andy

Hi Ryan,

I just wanted to reach out and let you know Steve, PGE’s Special Tester, will be reaching out to you early this week to share the results of the PQ monitor. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Thanks.

Hi Ryan,

My apologies for not following up with you. I’ve been checking up often with our Special Tester (Steve) in your area. The equipment is still on and monitoring. I am expecting him to pull the information this week and analyze it. My plan is to follow-up with you next week. My apologies for this taking a little longer than expected. The positive side is the more data we have, the better it supports our analysis. I’ll be in touch next week. Please let me know if you have any concerns with this time frame.

Thanks…T Woods

***Please take care when opening links, attachments or responding to this email as it originated outside of PGE.***

Tyesha,

I am reaching out to see if the utility workers ever pulled their monitoring equipment off the transformer. I know they were installed a few weeks ago but I am not sure if they have pulled the equipment off yet. If so, do we have any information about the power quality recorded. Please let me know and thanks again.
