FYI, we are looking in to why PGE bumped us from Schedule 83 (small industrial user) to Schedule 85 (large industrial user). My first thought is the new VFDs at the effluent pump house, as that’s the only thing that’s changed, but we will investigate. Work Order to track the issue is below.

NEW WO#5956 [Wastewater_Plant]: requested by apeters. Promise Date: 5/3/2019 12:00:00 AM

This is for discussion and to make sure we don't have a problem. Got this attached letter from PGE saying we have used more power than in the past. A good discription of the difference between Schedule 83 and 85 is found at

https://www.portlandgeneral.com/our-company/pge-at-a-glance/understanding-our-pricing

PGE can probably provide us with a graph of the spikes so we know what month they are in. Since nothing has changed it's possible the new VFDs are pulling more power? Or we dialed them up? Or perhapse the motors need to be load tested.. one of them could be beginning to fail? Other thoughts?

Our contact at PGE is name Daniel Herrera, 971-320-0152. He's an excellent person and very responsive.
