Hi Gerald,

Just to clarify, replacement of the lights to Option B LED assumes the City will purchase the new fixtures from the manufacturer and secure a crew to do the installations. The estimated cost that I provided is based on PGE’s costs if we needed to secure capital funding to replace these as Option A. So it might not be apples to apples depending on the contracted crew resource you obtain ~ but it was just intended to give you a ballpark if the City was to do their own replacements. You may need to put this out for bid to determine your unit cost.

Hi Christie,

We would like to budget for replacement of Option B lights to Option B LED’s in the next year’s budget. The spreadsheet you gave me dated 3/19/19 estimates a replacement cost of $108,000 for 339 Option B lights. Can you confirm that this dollar amount is still good assuming the work is done today or provide me with your latest estimate. We intend to budget the funds and then give you a Notice to Proceed on July 01, 2020. Thanks.
