Daniel, the CCed folks on this email are not to freak you out, but it’s just that I’m being asked again about these two projects, which just aren’t getting done. One needs to be done before the parades at the end of the month (Robbins at Center) the other is keeping our steel water line from being Cathodically protected and slowing down and insurance payout. Can you help us with answers?

Hi Daniel! I need to follow up on this one with you: M2717632, our Cathodic Protection on Freyer Park road, I have the Engineer from Farwest Corrosion scheduled to fly out on Thursday to ensure the Cathodic stuff is working as designed. My electrician tells me he’s been working with PGE on weather the post should be 12 ft under normal code sections, or 14 ft under “manufactured home” sections. I’m not really sure what’s going on, but he will be out tomorrow to try to comply with whatever he’s suppose to do. My concern is that PGE wouldn’t have me in Power by Thursday. So I have my electrician’s story and will see him out there working tomorrow. When he finishes tomorrow afternoon, is there any reason to think I won’t have power by Thursday?

Thanks so much!

Hi Andy,

Here’s what I have so far...it looks like there needs to be some work done at the S Feyrer Park job (see below) and the Robbins pole is scheduled to be pulled 5/14.

Thanks,

Daniel

I found M2717632 for the second one at S Feyrer & Adams Cemetary. It looks like there was a turn down by the inspector on 5/2/19:

T/D / NEED 3/8 EYE BOLT POA TO 14' OR MORE - CURRENTLY HOUSE KNOB CLAMP AT 10' ON MAST 2' ABOVE TOP OF POST / NEED TALLER POST - CURRENTLY 8' POST / NEED HARD TAG - ADAMS CEMETARY & FEYRER PARK CITY PUMP SERVICE - CURRENTLY STICKER WITH ROAD NAMES NOT CLOSE BY / TALKED TO ELECTRICIAN KARTER / *BARNES

For the Robbins/Center St, I found job M2524677. It looks like we notified the city yesterday that we are scheduled to pull the pole on 5/14/19.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need anything else.

Thank you,

Hi Tabitha & Denise,

Can you please help me with a couple of requests from the City of Molalla? It appears PGE needs to remove an old pole at the corner of Robbins St & Center Ave in Molalla and then repair the sidewalk. (see attached image from the city) I tried looking in Maximo for a work order number and status and couldn’t find anything. Do you have any information that I can share with the customer?

The second item is at the corner of S Feyrer Park Rd & S Adams Cemetery Rd in Molalla. The city is waiting for PGE to install service and would like a timeframe on when we will complete the job.

Please let me know if you have any questions or if I need to contact someone else. I appreciate all your help!

***Please take care when opening links, attachments or responding to this email as it originated outside of PGE.***

Good Morning Daniel! I have two PGE issues to ask you about. First is the one in the photo attached, at Robbins/Center st where a new PGE pole was sunk. The old one is still in place, marked with a white X, I expect it is planned for removal. It’s my understanding that PGE will redo the sidewalk to Geralds’ standards when you pull this pole, correct? My question is: do we have a timeline, and can we be sure to avoid construction during the 4th of July events, such as the parade.

Second, on Freyer Park Road I just finished installing a new Cathodic Protection unit, which had been hit by a car. My contractor, GPEC, worked with PGE for approvals, but I’m now waiting on PGE to install the new service to it. This unit is protecting a steel water line in the ground from corrosion, so I’d like to get it up and running again, it’s been about 3 months.

Anything you can tell me would be helpful! Thanks Daniel. Hope you are enjoying the sun!
