Hi Kristy,

The PGE light does not need to remain. We will incorporate new onsite private lighting into our parking lot improvements. Please coordinate with Andy when you are ready to have your crews remove the light and he will make sure our staff de-energizes the power to it when your crews are onsite. Thanks.

Subject: PGE pole/streetlight at City Park

Hello Gerald & Brenda,

We have identified a PGE owned pole at the park along Shirley St east of Park Ave that may need some resolution. See attached pictures for reference.

This is a laminated poly type that is obsolete and we have been replacing these (mostly end of life) with Fiberglass instead. But we notice this has a lot of park signs and other items attached to it. We should really not own this pole in this state. We are not able to replace or maintain it with these items attached.

We also found a meter base there so we are wondering if this light is actually now fed from that meter, in which case we should be not be billing this light as an Option A flat rate light & pole.

Are you able to make the determination on your end whether this light is fed from your meter?

We think the best solution may be to sell Molalla this LED light (that was installed in 2013) and the City can retain ownership of the light (either as Option C or metered) and the pole in its current state with everything attached.
