Andy, Thanks for the update. I agree that we should probably just do it right. I know it’s like lipstick on a pig, but we probably should make it habitable as long as the building is in use. People should have at least a tolerable work environment. My vote would be to get a couple of more quick bids and get it done. Hopefully, you could get lucky and hit all the lights green.

Chief, I reviewed this and spoke with Gerald. There is $19,025 remaining in Building Maintenance line Item (Administration Dept) for this FY. Some of that is already earmarked, so we will need more money. A PO this size will take signatures from both Dan and Gerald, and I’ll need 2 additional quotes from Contractors to meet competitive public procurement rules before I can cut a PO. I’m not sure I’ll be able to get anything installed before cooler weather sets in.

I thought about going cheap - knocking out windows slamming off-the-shelf units in. But I don’t think you will be happy with that. Wind and rain in the fall will be a problem. We should probably just do it right. Let me know your thoughts?
