Attachments: image004.jpg; image003.png; Gerald & Christie, I apologize, I was under the impression that the 5 tables were still at your location. The warehouse just informed me that they brought all 6 tables back. Again, my apologies for this issue, and the inconvenience it has caused for you. I have spoken with Tami Simpson, our Warehouse Manager, and the Furniture Factory Manager, Brad Anderson. We are making this a priority to redo the tops and get the tables, in the correct condition, back to you as quickly as possible. Tami will reach out to you as soon as they are completed and back to the warehouse to expedite the return delivery to you. We will keep you informed. Sincerely, Darla Schachtsick Sales Manager Cell: 503.339-4793 “The Mission of Oregon Corrections Enterprises, in partnership with the Department of Corrections, is to promote public safety by providing adults in custody with work and training opportunities in a self-sustaining organization.” From: Christie DeSantis [mailto:cdesantis@cityofmolalla.com] Sent: Monday, September 17, 2018 1:23 PM To: Darla Schachtsick <dschachtsick@oce.oregon.gov>; Tami Simpson <tsimpson@oce.oregon.gov> Cc: Gerald Fisher <gfisher@cityofmolalla.com>; Dan Huff <dhuff@cityofmolalla.com>; Chaunee Seifried <cseifried@cityofmolalla.com> Subject: Table Delivery Good Afternoon, This afternoon the tables from our attached quote were delivered. Within minutes, they were rejected. One table was originally being sent back due to the table top screws coming loose from the base. I chose to send it back. The five others that were brought into our empty Conference Room were rejected due to the table tops all being bowed. The attached photo is for your reference. Each table was bowed ¼ - ½ inch. I’m not sure how this passed Quality Inspection, as the bowing is extremely noticeable. Having waited several weeks for the tables to be constructed, this is an incredible inconvenience to our Staff. All previous furniture from our Conference Room has been removed, based on the delivery dated being scheduled for this morning. It feels highly unprofessional to have other agencies sit at a fold-up table while we conduct business. If the tables cannot be delivered to our satisfaction (level), we will have no choice other than to cancel this order. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
