Hi Scott,
I don’t know what material is there over the door in front of the PD. Down lower it appears to be a type of cement board about 5/8” thick connected to the building. The front is likely masonry unit that is either void on the inside or is grouted solid with bar down the center. The building is old and has had several additions with no records available of how it was built due to the age of the phases. Hope this helps.

Hi Christie,
Thank you for the deposit.
I was out there Sunday looking at the Police Department entrance where the sign goes. I know how I’d like to mount the City Hall and Police Department signs but I’m just curious, it appears to be similar to a cement/plaster board material. Do you know what the surface material is and what might be behind it?
Thank you,
Scott Webb
